A few times every year I suddenly discover solutions and ideas that completely surprises me. Today was one of these days. We have all heard about sure step and rapid start, and they are great tools. Now To-Increase has created an integrated business process tool that allows you to model your business processes right from Dynamics AX. When I often see tools like this, I often feel that it is a framework, and you need to build all yourself. But the To-Increase Rapid Value is actually filled with contents, and real and proven business processes. Here are some screen shots from the application.
One of the best part is the smooth integration to VISIO and other Microsoft Office applications. Pick you processes from Dynamics AX 2012, and use them in the Visio to show the flow of your business processes.
It’s also works with Sure step and Rapid Start Microsoft, and is a valuable addition to this. I look forward to working with customers on this tool, and I’m quite sure that this will bring rapid value to our customers. My last comment is “bye, bye whiteboard, and long process definition meetings”
If you want to take a closer look at it, browse into the To-Increase site here:
Hi Kurt,
Being a non-Axapta professional, but working in a project where AX2012 is being deployed, I would like to know whether the integration to AX2012 has some way of showing process flows that runs on other systems than AX, or has data fed into AX from non-Microsoft applications? Will it be possible to reflect this somehow?

Kurt,
We talked to To-Increase about the content, but the answer we got was that each partner should build up his own content for the verticals they serve and sell this as intellectual property. As to RapidStart, yes, that’s the intention. To bridge the gap between SureStep and RapidStart and feed the parameter settings of RapidStart by developing business processes in RapidValue.

Hi Kurt,
this seems to be a better Tool as all the former Dynamics AX Rapid Configuration and Sure Step Trials … Is there any association to MS Rapid Start? And is there a possibility to get a test installation?
Kind regards,
Reinhardt

Hi Reinhard. I’m quite sure that To-Increase, that is the ISV, that developed the solution can help you with theese questions. Rapid Value is not an alternative to Rapid Start og sure step, but an addition, where your own processes are very visually documented into DAX 2012. In the edition I have access to, the IEM/ADM processes are the deepest and most advanced.
